The NFT and DEFI industry evolve so rapidly that it’s mind blowing. At Pixuverse we’re always looking to improve the value for our community. We’ve adapted our Tokenomics ensure long term success for the artists and the community that support them by purchasing their NFTs. Here’s the roadmap of what’s coming for 2022:
Skulloids Airdrop
As promised we’re dropping 1600 tokens to each Skulloid NFT. This is a one time claim per NFT. We’re doing an improved version of the original airdrop. Instead of just getting PIXU for governance you’ll be receiving vipPIXU which will be worth multiple PIXU as a reward for purchasing the very first collection deployed by the Pixuverse platform. This token is modeled after pOHM described HERE.

PIXU DAO Treasury
Instead of giving away PIXU to liquidity miners as mercenary capital the Pixuverse treasury will purchase the liquidity using a bonding system like SQUID DAO. But instead of backing each PIXU with ETH we’ll be backing it with MATIC. After going 100x in 2021 and with new games launched every day the MATIC token is poised to take over the Metaverse landscape.
Where does the PIXU APY come from?
Yeah, we’re sending part of the NFT direct sales and secondary sales straight to the Pixuverse treasury to be distributed to PIXU holders that vest their tokens. Bonding also provides revenue to the Pixuverse DAO. All the assets in the treasury will be used for yield farming and those rewards will also be distributed to the PIXU token holders.
The Pixuverse DAO Treasury will be deployed after the initial 4000 Skulloids are sold. This revenue will be used to kick-start the PIXU rewards and the initial liquidity.

The vePIXU holders besides receiving PIXU and yield farming rewards are the members that get to vote on how to use the grants program from the DAO treasury. Support your favorite artist!
New NFT Collections
We’re working with musical artists to develop a fashion NFT adapted for Metaverse avatars so they may “learn” to sing. For example; you can equip a mic to an avatar like you Ready Player Me and instantly turn them into an artist singing the NFT song. We have the music down and we’re just looking for the right 3D avatar partnership.
Pixuverse Voxels
The Utility Side of Pixuverse
In parallel with all the above we’ll be building the voxel version for The Skulloids to deploy them in virtual worlds. This work stream will follow the Pixuverse Treasury to make it a community driven open source initiative. To transform your NFTs you’ll have to burn PIXU.
In conclusion, PIXU will provide yield farming rewards, NFT sales rewards, additional PIXU airdrops, NFT utility that will require to burn it and it’ll be backed by a reserve of MATIC. This is the Metaverse coin frens!
