Introducing the Pixuverse
We are the DAO fostering a cross collection NFT metaverse starting with The Skulloids from international artist Tokebi. The Pixuverse team is working on three pillars to build the best community led ecosystem:
1 - PIXU Tokenomics
Collect to Earn in the Pixuverse where all NFT collections receive passive income for the holders in the form of PIXU tokens.
PIXU Rewards
On top of the rewards for NFT holders there are PIXU yield farming incentives used to power liquidity for the PIXU ecosystem. We're kicking off in Polygon since it’s the best network for NFT projects due to its integration with OpenSea along with low gas fees. We'll be expanding to other blockchains shortly.
The PIXU token will be used for governance of the Pixuverse DAO. For users to vote they will have to lock their tokens in a vesting smart contract which will issue them non transferable vePIXU tokens. These represent their voting power and ensures that those who participate in governance have a long term interest in the DAO. The vePIXU holders will receive exclusive access to new NFT drops.
EDIT: In Unleash the Pixuverse we clarify that the liquidity will be purchased by the protocol like in DeFi 2.0 models.
2 - PIXU Games
Use your PIXU to purchase in game items and real estate.
A 3D voxel world that unifies multiple NFT collections into a single voxel format so they may interact with each other. This means that NFTs with different styles like pixel art or vector graphics can all be translated to the same game.
3 - PIXU Combinator
As Steve Job's said "this is for the crazy ones", the creatives that set out to impact the world with beautiful visual art, compelling stories or breath taking music. We're building a network of partner artists to connect them with the global crypto economy. Culture will bring blockchain to the masses so we're creating a set of tools to allow artist like Tokebi to reach millions around the world through the Pixuverse. The PIXU token holders will also vote on how to allocate the PIXU DAO treasury grants to creatives.
